Navigate Genetics is a community-based hereditary cancer genetic counseling practice dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality genetic counseling services to individuals and families at risk of hereditary cancer and those with cancer diagnoses. Our team of experienced and compassionate genetic providers works closely with clients to help them understand their hereditary cancer risk, identify appropriate genetic testing options, and develop tailored screening and risk-reduction strategies.
We are committed to serving our local community and providing accessible, affordable genetic counseling services to individuals and families of all backgrounds. Our services include in-person consultations, telehealth appointments, and educational resources to support clients in making informed decisions about their health.
At our practice, we believe that knowledge is power and that every individual has the right to access information about their genetic risk for cancer. Our goal is to empower our clients with the tools and resources they need to take control of their health and reduce their risk of cancer through early detection, prevention, and personalized care.
Stacie Holloway, FNP-BC, CGRA is an experienced nurse practitioner with specialized training in hereditary cancer genetics. As a cancer risk counselor, she has gained extensive knowledge in assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with hereditary cancer syndromes. She has an in-depth understanding of hereditary cancer genetic counseling, cancer risk assessments, and personalized cancer risk care planning.
After a broad range of healthcare experience across hospitals, clinics, and private practices, she focused her career on breast health in 2015. As a breast health nurse practitioner, she evaluated and treated patients with benign breast conditions and partnered with experts in treating those with breast cancer. During her role as a breast health nurse practitioner, she found her passion in hereditary cancer genetics.
Stacie’s educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Baptist College of Health Sciences, Memphis TN in 1999. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Mississippi University for Women in 2011. She holds certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Cancer Risk Counselor.
Stacie is a graduate of City of Hope’s Genomic Cancer Risk Assessment Intensive Course. This training is designed to integrate cancer genetics and oncology knowledge into clinical settings across communities in the US and internationally. As an alumnus of the course, Stacie joined City of Hope’s Clinical Cancer Genomics Community of Practice, a network currently numbering more than 1,000 clinicians. She also participates in the Clinical Cancer Genomics Community Research Network.
